Retention period: Cookies have a lifetime of 6 months, after which they will be placed again the next time you visit our websites. Purpose of processing: In order to enable us to improve our site, and to measure and analyze visits to and use thereof, we use an audience measurement tool by means of local storage technology on your device. Please note that this local storage does not in any way enable us to track your browsing or to carry out profiling.
Data generated by this local storage includes the following: Each visit to our site generates an anonymous, encrypted, randomly generated identifier, which is assigned for statistical purposes by our subcontracted consent management platform. This audience measurement technology enables us to generate statistics on the number of visitors to our websites, as well as on visitors' consent to the placement of cookies.
Legal basis: The legal basis for the processing is Volta Medical's legitimate interest in generating audience measurement statistics for the purposes of analyzing site traffic, measuring performance, and determining potential improvements.
Mandatory or non-mandatory placement: Insofar as this local storage is strictly limited to audience measurement and is used to produce anonymous statistical data (without other data collection), your consent is not required for placement.
